Remember that free email addresses may not be as good as you would like, and some don’t offer a lot of features. If you are looking for a new email address to avoid spam emails, you should find one with a proven track record of getting rid of it. This is pretty hard, however, because the spammers are always finding new ways around email filters.

If you need a new email address for business reasons, you want one that is tough on spam and junk emails. You don’t have time to waste wading through the useless and annoying emails you didn’t ask for. You should find a new email address service that will only allow email to come from those in your address book. This may stop a lot of the junk, but remember that this also means new clients might not be able to reach you. You may also want to have a business email with fewer restrictions, just for new people to reach you. When you have decided on a working relationship, you can then give them your other address to use.
